An oversea visitor visit to our lab
each of us required to present the research that currently on-going
Sadly was that when I received the comment from my supervisor
I knew that he did not focus on my speaking...
While presenting, I get the news that my gf was sick which made me anxious until I got the permission to left earlier without joining the visitor's talk. (feeling bad...)

When I headed to an office, waiting at the counter.
The office phone rang, but no one was willing to answer the call.
Some were busy with their work in their desk and some were chit-chatting with the their friends.
I did not know what was the point of having a contact number stated in the website under the section 'Contact Us'
This updated my thought: Actually there were people inside the office but no one was willing to answer my call in the past...
When I saw the working hours
Monday-Thursday: 9am-3pm
Friday: 10am-12pm
I was kinda speechless......
This is why everything is slow
